Tutoring Program

Tutoring services are available for students registered with the Unit for Assessment and Support for Students with Learning Disabilities and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders. Student-tutor pairings are assigned based on academic discipline and individual learning needs. 

Who is Eligible? 

  • Students officially registered with the Learning Disabilities Unit. 

  • Students who have undergone a consultation and assessment and received a recommendation for tutoring. 

Program Structure 

  • One-on-one academic mentoring tailored to both course content and learning skills development. 

  • Tutors are outstanding students with strong teaching abilities, patience, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Tutors receive training and supervision from the unit’s staff, and earn either a scholarship or academic credit (Cornerstone Courses - אבני פינה) for their participation. 

  • Some tutoring frameworks run throughout the academic year, while others are short-term, provided on an as-needed basis. 

Note: Some tutoring services require a nominal annual fee.
