The Psychological Service

Requesting Psychological Consultation

The Psychological Services at Hebrew University was established to provide mental health support and counseling for students. The service offers the highest standard of professional therapeutic approaches across all four university campuses.

Seeking psychological consultation is widely accepted today as a way to cope with life’s complexities, personal distress, and the challenges of modern society. Balancing academic studies, career, family, financial concerns, and societal pressures can create significant emotional strain. In such cases, psychological therapy provides a “time-out” for self-reflection and the development of coping tools. Therapy at Psychological Services is tailored to each individual's needs.

Currently, depending on the nature of the referral and the availability of the service, priority and subsidized rates are provided for:

  • Students serving in the military reserves and their spouses

  • Students from the southern and northern regions of Israel who have been displaced from their homes
