The Social Engagement Unit implements the university’s third mission – alongside research and teaching – creating a connection between academia and the community, and contributing to society.
The unit aims to develop and promote awareness, engagement, and social responsibility among all students at the university, who are the future leaders of tomorrow. This is driven by a belief in and a desire to promote equality of opportunity, mutual responsibility, and social accountability, with the goal of strengthening the social resilience of Israeli society.
