Prior to joining Glocal, Imri worked for eight years as a humanitarian field worker dealing with various emergencies and post-emergencies, especially in Africa. Imri has worked as Project Coordinator and Manager with leading international relief NGOs such as Médecins Sans Frontières and the International Rescue Committee. His humanitarian work led him to the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Liberia, Nigeria, Ethiopia and other countries. He has worked in providing health to refugees, in managing local hospitals in post-conflict contexts and participated in the West-Africa Ebola response.
Imri has an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge, a post-graduate degree in Ethnology from the University of Paris (Nanterre) as well as a post-graduate degree in International Development & Humanitarian Work from the University of Paris (Sorbonne).
As Internship Coordinator in Glocal, Imri mentors and orients the students before and during their internship period, and helps them combine the theoretical studies with their field experience.
