Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the Hebrew University, similarly to many universities around the world, has shifted all of its teaching to an online method. At Glocal, we began the second semester this week, offering interactive online courses in a variety of topics ranging from “Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation”, “Public Health and Development”, to “Migration, Refugees and Development”, as well as a new course on “Development in Conflict Zones”. Lecturers employ a variety of teaching methods and Glocal students are closely supported both by staff and by our own “buddy system”. We continue to run our mini-practicum and plan for the 2020 internships. We constantly adapt to the changing circumstances and ensure that our students gain the best academic knowledge, practical skills and experience, particularly in the current uncertain environment.
