Hebrew University Administration to the Israeli Government: A Deal Now!

1 September, 2024

The Hebrew University administration is shocked and deeply mourns the brutal murder of Carmel Gat and five other hostages held by Hamas.

Carmel, a master’s student at Hebrew University’s School of Occupational Therapy, was kidnapped from Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7. Her mother, Kinneret, was murdered. Her sister-in-law, Yarden Roman-Gat, who was abducted alongside her, was released after 54 days in captivity.
