About
The Learning Center for the Blind was established in 1996 through the initiative and funding of ALEH – the association for advancing blind students in Israel. Its primary mission is to support blind and visually impaired students enrolled at Hebrew University. The center serves approximately 150 students and preparatory program participants.
The center is located on the Mount Scopus Campus, providing services to blind and visually impaired students studying at faculties located there. A branch at the Edmond J. Safra (Givat Ram) Campus supports students in the Faculty of Science. Additional services are available for students studying at the Rehovot Campus.
