The Centre for the Study of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts of Wuhan University
The Centre for the Study of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts of Wuhan University 武漢大學研究中心 http://www.bsm.org.cn is one of the leading centers of study of early Chinese paleographic materials, most notably the newly excavated texts, many of which were discovered in the Hubei area, not far from the Center's location. The Center publication, Jian bo 簡帛, is one of the leading journals that presents annual achievements of paleographic studies in China. In addition to research and teaching, the Center organizes conferences and workshops, which are known as one of the most vibrant meetings of specialists in early Chinese paleography.
