Central Vision of the Safety Department
To promote creating a work environment on the Hebrew University campuses that is as safe as possible, and that will not harm the physical or mental health of campus workers, students or guests.
Vision of the Safety Department
- To ensure that Department staff will be comprised of workers committed to the central objectives of the Department and to University policies and values
- To provide professional services on a high level to University units and research groups by understanding their specific needs.
- To provide services in the fields of safety and hygiene which will be fully integrated with diverse University activities, especially with the work of research groups.
- To produce and preserve a supportive work environment in which the full potential of each and every Department worker is expressed, while emphasizing teamwork, drawing conclusions and constant improvement.
- To work towards advancing awareness of safety and hygiene issues in the University so that it will be an integral part of the organizational culture of the University worker and student communities.
