Born in Lima, Peru and graduated as a Civil Engineer from the National University of Engineering (UNI) in Peru. Dr. Mas worked on Civil Defense and Disaster prevention offices at local and regional governments in Peru.
After completing his doctor's course at the School of Engineering at Tohoku University, worked as a special researcher of the Japan Institute for the Promotion of Science (at the Earthquake Research Institute of Tokyo University), as a guest researcher at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Adminis
Luis Moya has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in civil engineering from the National University of Engineering, Peru. He completed his PhD at the Department of Urban Environment Systems in Chiba University, Japan.
Adi Ben-Nun is Director of the Hebrew University GIS Center. He has degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy and Engineering. He teaches courses in GIS at both the Hebrew University and the Technion.
Eilat Elbaum is a Master's student at the department of Atmospheric Sciences. She has graduated from the Hebrew University with a B.Sc in Earth Sciences and Geoinformatics.
Daniel Felsenstein is a Professor and chair of the Department of Geography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His fields of interest are in economic geography and regional science. His work uses the tools of dynamic simulation modeling and spatial econometrics.
Yair Grinberger is a PhD student at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests include time-space behavior of individuals, geographic information science (GIScience), Big spatial Data and spatial analysis and modeling.
Guy Keren is a Masters student in Geography, Planning and Environment at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests are in geospatial analysis using GIS based models and geostatistics, particularly in relation to networks and transportation analysis.
