Workshop on Modeling urban resilience in the aftermath of the Haifa fire will be held on Thursday, 2nd February in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Mt Scopus, Jerusalem.

New Study Area Maps
The maps present select socio-economic variables of the study area (Haifa Metropolitan area) and were produced by Lisa Buchmann, project intern from Germany.

Visit of the Israeli Research Team to Tohoku Region, Japan
This was the first meeting between the two research groups and an opportunity for both sides to get to learn about mutual capabilities and tools.
Over the course of the year each group will work separately on developing the various components of the DIM2SEA model. Meetings will be held bi-annually in Japan and Israel alternately.
