The Discourse Forum is a long-standing platform designed to enable researchers from various institutions in Israel to meet and discuss key concepts, innovative methodologies and current research that promotes discourse research. In addition, the forum allows post-graduate students to deepen their knowledge of the field of study and to encourage their promotion both by presenting their research work and by meeting with senior researchers in the field. The forum is held at the Hebrew University since 2002. Its first chair was Prof. Shoshana Blum-Kulka. Currently it is headed by Prof. Zohar Kampf and Dr. Michal Hamo.

The list of scholars presented in the forum includes Theo Van Leeuven, Martin Montgomery, Joanna Thornborrow, Ruth Page, Jonathan Culpeper, Paddy Scannell, Tamar Katriel, Göran Eriksson and Gonen Dori-Hacohen.
