Omer Solodoch is a Lecturer (assistant professor) in the department of international relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Previously, he was a postdoctoral fellow at The Christopher H. Browne Center for International Politics at the University of Pennsylvania.

He studies international and comparative political economy. His work deals with the sources of public opposition to globalization, with a focus on immigration and international trade. He also studies the electoral effects of trade policy, economic shocks and financial crises. 

His research has been published or is forthcoming in International Organization, the Journal of Politics, the British Journal of Political Science, the Journal of Conflict Resolution, and the Journal of European Public Policy, among other journals.
