I am The Rosita Herczeg Professor of Economics at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. I am also the Director of the Pinhas Sapir Forum for Economic Policy, a Senior Researcher at The Institute for National Security Studies, a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research in London (CEPR), and an Affiliated Researcher with The University of California Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation (IGCC). Most of my research focuses on two subject areas within the field of Political Economy: Terrorism and Political Violence, and Positive Studies of Taxation and Redistribution.
