Post-doctoral/Ph.D position in spin physics in diamond nanostructures beyond the diffraction limit
The successful candidate will study the fundamental spin dynamics occurring in nanodiamonds and nanofabricated structures in diamond. The research will take place in Jerusalem, with extended visits to Prof. Hell’s NanoBiophotonics department at MPI Gottingen.
The scientific findings of this investigation will have wide-ranging implications for the applications of NV centers or other defect centers in solids to quantum information processing, quantum dynamics, quantum assisted metrology, and sensing in biological and chemical samples.
Dima receives the Prof. Rahamimoff Travel Grant.
Joint M.Sc. and Ph.D. positions with Prof. Ronen Rapaport's group available
We are seeking motivated, excellent M.Sc. and Ph.D. students for a joint project of the Rapaport group (http://www.phys.huji.ac.il/~ronenr/) and the Bar-Gill group (https://scholars.huji.ac.il/bargill) from the Quantum Information center at Hebrew University, focused on developing a new nano-optical method for readout of quantum states from a single NV centers in diamond.
Two theoretical post-doctoral positions available, in collaboration with Prof. Gershon Kurizki at Weizmann
We advertise 2 theoretical post-doctoral positions in a joint project of the Kurizki group at the Weizmann Institute (http://www.weizmann.ac.il/chemphys/gershon/) and the Bar-Gill group at the Hebrew University (https://scholars.huji.ac.il/bargill) in Israel, focused on quantum many-body physics of atomic-like systems in the solid-state.
The successful candidates will be engaged in 2 main efforts:
M.Sc., Ph.D. and Post-doctoral positions available
We are seeking excellent, highly motivated candidates at all levels for joining our research group. Positions are available in all projects, including quantum information science, interacting quantum systems and quantum simulation, and nanoscale sensing.
For the successful applicant we offer exciting, state-of-the-art research opportunities, a friendly atmosphere, competitive compensation and the possibility for close collaboration in Israel and abroad.
