The main goal of our research is to understand typical and a typical cognitive development.Our research includes multiple perspectives, such as cognitive, developmental, neuroscience, and study of neuropsychology patients to explore cognitive processes.Our current studies test both numerical cognition and visuospatial working memory and include multiple populations such as typically developing children (3-5 year old) and students (3 to 5 graders) in addition to students with learning disabilities (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and developmental dyscalculia).Currently, we are looking at behavioral and neurocognitive aspects of numerical cognition using 1) Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). 2) Eye tracking device.
