The Racah Institute of Physics

 

 

 

The institute is named after professor Giulio (Yoel) Racah (1909-1965) and is a recognized historical site of the European Physical Society.
There are 60 members of academic staff working at the institute, teaching and carrying out experimental and theoretical research in a wide area of fields: astrophysics, condensed matter physics, high energy physics, biophysics, nonlinear and soft matter physics, nuclear physics and quantum technology, and optics.
We have approximately 400 bachelor’s degree students and another 170 on master’s degree programs who are studying and carrying out research on the campus.
The exceptional academic opportunities afforded by the Racah Institute are part of its long and proud tradition of teaching and research.
Graduates of the Racah Institute and post-doctoral students who developed their knowledge here have continued to make vital contributions to society as researchers, teachers and industry leaders.
