Manufacturer and model:

InViaTM Confocal Raman Microscope (Renishaw)

General Information:

The InVia Raman microscope is powerful instrument for non-destructive materials analysis which is based on the detection of vibration of molecules and crystals excited by a laser light. Being a single instrument the InVia delivers both highly specific discrete analysis and information - rich chemical imaging across the wide range of materials in life and material science, chemistry and physics. The system enables analysis of the samples contained within most transparent containers, and in aqueous solution.

Key Features:

Our InVia Raman microscope is high-sensitive system enabling high resolution confocal measurements with spatial resolution better than 1 µm. It includes with research grade light microscope and three excitation lasers covering wavelengths from near infrared to the ultraviolet, with software switching of excitation. The system also includes automated high performance filter and sensitive CCD detector. In addition, it is equipped with high and low-temperature attachments.
