I am an Adjunct Professor of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where I got my Ph. D. Since October 2017 I am the Director of the Research Department at the Bank of Israel. After doing a post-doc at M.I.T. I performed my research on both theoretical and empirical aspects of Economics, with emphasis on empirical research about relevant topics in Israel. I am co-Editor of the Israel Economic Review since its first issue, which was published in April 2003.

My research focuses on Public Economics and on Macroeconomics. I have written papers on Taxation, Governement Transfer Programs and Fiscal Policy. About the Israeli Economy I have written papers on Fiscal Policy, Public Debt, Growth, Taxation and the impact of the Earned Income Tax Credit on Employment and Inequality.
