Hebrew University students and staff are encouraged to participate in international exchange programs with our partnering institutions across the globe, in order to enrich their knowledge, experience other cultures, and expand their horizons on both an academic and a personal level. Further details are available through the HUJI international office. 

Authorization of Language Proficiently

Students wishing to apply for exchange programs will be asked to present authorization of language proficiency, in keeping with the requirements set by the host institution. The Language Center is responsible for providing such authorization for the modern languages taught under its auspices.

Recognition of Courses Studied Abroad

Aligning the Language Center objectives and learning outcomes with the CEFR has greatly facilitated the ability of students of the Hebrew University to integrate into language classes abroad and to receive credit for such courses upon their return. All processes to do with approval of learning agreements and course credit are handled by the internationalization coordinators in each Faculty of the university. However, in order to request recognition of a language course, students must receive an academic recommendation in writing from the Language Center, prior to departure.
