In 2014, she earned her PhD in History at Princeton University. Title of the thesis: The City as a Space of Suspicion: Partition, Belonging and Citizenship in Delhi, 1940-1955. Since October 2014 she is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the ERC Research Project "JudgingHistories. Experience, Judgement and Representation of World War II in an Age of Globalization" at the Hebrew University Jerusalem. She is also a
Research Group member at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute for the project “Twentieth-Century Partitions: Legacies of British Rule” and has been teaching in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. From 2010 to 2011 she was an Affiliated Scholar at the History Department of the Delhi University. In 2007 she earned her M.A. in Anthropology at the New School for Social Research in New York after having finished her B.A. in East Asian Studies and History at Tel Aviv University.
