About the Department

Welcome to the Human Resources Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

This web site provides employees with comprehensive, up-to-date information for the duration of their university career, through retirement.

HR views enrichment and development of the university's personnel as a top priority. In partnership with the university administration, we invest in the strategic planning of HR policy which will both promote the institution's goals, and enable successful management of our human resources.  We strive to create a people-centered work environment which recognizes individual qualities, abilities and achievements, thus enabling our employees to realize their personal, professional and organizational goals, while promoting employee satisfaction.

The Human Resources Department is charged with formulation and implementation of university policy in all areas of human resources, providing services for the entire Hebrew University workforce. The department includes the following divisions:
