You can choose from the wide selection of online university courses and lectures, most of which are available to the public at large. Some of them are for credit. Additional courses on a variety of subjects are currently being developed.

The Hebrew University's Coronavirus Webinar series

This series features Hebrew University experts discussing the coronavirus, the race for a cure, and its local and global impact. The lectures are updated on a weekly basis and are available for free. Click here for more information.

Hebrew University’s Rothberg International School (RIS) has a portfolio of online courses that enable students around the world to remain engaged with us here in Jerusalem despite Covid-19, while whetting their appetites for a future study abroad experience.

MA in Education specializing in Jewish Education

1-year Master’s degree in Education with a specialization in Jewish Education offered to Jewish and non-Jewish educators around the world. The program consists of 2-4 semesters taught online via distance learning and a 4-week intensive summer semester in Jerusalem, for a total of 36 credits. Coursera is an education platform that partners with top universities and organizations worldwide and offers online courses for free. Hebrew University is proud to be participating, sharing stimulating lectures in fields ranging from Hebrew Literature to Brain Science with students across the world. Classes on eTeacher

eTeacher Group is an international leader in online education. The hallmarks of eTeacher’s language courses are live online instruction, flexible hours, and the convenience of learning from your home or office.

In collaboration with The Israel Institute of Biblical Studies, the Hebrew University is proud to offer its Online Languages Program. The classes are open to students and researchers anywhere in the world who are interested in acquiring or improving their Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Aramaic, and Yiddish. Among the program’s offerings are accredited courses for which participants can earn academic credits. All of our online language courses have been developed by top university researchers, linguists, and instructors. These online courses are not designated for regular Hebrew University students.

HUJI at edX

The Hebrew University popular course 'Sex from molecules to elephants' is available on the edX platform here. This unique course, filmed entirely on location, contrasts the richness of sex with its evolutionary conservation, exploring the African savanna, Yellowstone National Park, coral reefs, museums, and labs.
