The Safety Committee serves the University, and its structure is determined by the Work Supervision Regulations (Safety Committee and Safety Trustees) – 1960.
Management representatives: Chairman of the Safety Committee, Director of the Construction and Infrastructure Branch, Director of the Safety and Hygiene Department, Committee Secretary - Coordinator of Safety Information and Training.
Unit representatives: Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, workers' representatives selected by the Workers' Union: Administrative Staff (Engineer/technician/laboratory worker), senior academic staff.
