Amir Cahane

Amir Cahane

Amir is a research fellow in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Cyber Security Research Center, The Cyber Law Program. His research focuses on cyber protection regulation for the private sector. As of 2017, Amir serves as a research assistant in the Israel Democracy Institute, where his research pertains to online surveillance law.

Amir holds an LLB from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and an LLM from the University of Cambridge. He has worked as an associate lawyer in the private sector, providing legal services to hi-tech firms.

Prior to his legal studies, Amir acquired a Bsc in statistics and Operations Research and Management from Tel Aviv University, and worked as a statistician in the private sector for several years.
